The gospel of Jesus Christ

Forged in the finished work of Christ.

Every program at ABBA Forge is built on one foundation: the gospel that saves, sustains, and transforms.

Grace Alone/Faith Alone/Christ Alone

Our foundation

The gospel is not the beginning of the Christian life. It is the whole of it.

At ABBA Forge, every program, every conversation, and every resource flows from one source: the finished work of Jesus Christ.

We do not offer self-improvement. We proclaim a Savior. We do not offer a better version of you. We proclaim a new creation in Christ. Everything we do is an extension of that proclamation.

The five solas

I

Scripture Alone

Sola Scriptura

The Bible is the final, sufficient, and authoritative word of God. No tradition, council, or experience stands above it.

II

Grace Alone

Sola Gratia

Salvation originates entirely in God's free and unmerited grace. Nothing in us initiates or contributes to our redemption.

III

Faith Alone

Sola Fide

Justification is received through faith alone — not faith plus works. Faith is the instrument, never the ground, of our acceptance.

IV

Christ Alone

Solus Christus

Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and humanity. His life, death, and resurrection are the sole basis of salvation.

V

To God Alone Be Glory

Soli Deo Gloria

All of salvation — from election to glorification — redounds to the glory of God alone. No human being shares the credit.

The finished work of Christ

The Cross

Propitiation · Redemption · Reconciliation

On the cross, Jesus bore the full weight of divine wrath against sin. He was the substitute — the one who stood in the place of guilty sinners and absorbed the judgment they deserved. His death was not a tragedy. It was a triumph.

Isaiah 53:4–6 · Romans 3:25 · 2 Corinthians 5:21 · Galatians 3:13 · 1 Peter 2:24

The Resurrection

Vindication · New Life · Certain Hope

The resurrection declares that the Father accepted the Son's sacrifice. Death could not hold him. The resurrection is the guarantee of our justification, the firstfruits of our own resurrection, and the foundation of every promise God has made.

Romans 4:25 · 1 Corinthians 15:20–22 · 1 Peter 1:3–5 · Acts 2:24

The courtroom of grace

Justified. Fully. Finally.

Justification is a legal declaration, not a moral transformation. God the Judge declares the believing sinner righteous — not because they are, but because Christ is, and his righteousness is credited to them.

I

The Charge

Every human being stands guilty before a holy God. The law demands perfect obedience. No one has rendered it.

Romans 3:19–20

II

The Substitute

Christ lived the life we could not live and died the death we deserved. His obedience is active and passive — he fulfilled the law and bore its penalty.

Romans 5:18–19

III

The Verdict

Through faith in Christ, the sinner is declared righteous. The verdict is final. It cannot be appealed, reversed, or revoked.

Romans 8:1

The order of salvation

From death to glory.

Twelve movements of God's saving work, from humanity's ruin to the believer's eternal restoration.

The gospel invitation

Come to Jesus Christ.

You are not called to clean yourself up before coming. You are called to come because you cannot save yourself.

01

Confess

Acknowledge your sin and your inability to save yourself.

02

Turn

Repent of sin and abandon every rival hope of righteousness.

03

Rest

Trust Jesus Christ alone — crucified, risen, and sufficient.

"God, be merciful to me, a sinner."

Luke 18:13 · John 6:37 · Acts 16:31
